The design process starts with a First Consultation meeting when you, the Client, discuss your needs and wishes for the garden with the designer. This meeting will last at least an hour.

If you agree to the quotation that is provided after the First Consultation, a full site survey will take place, and Concept Plans will be drawn up for your approval.

At this stage you will be able to contribute to the design and suggest any changes.

A Master Plan will then be prepared, incorporating any changes and specifying a high degree of detail, so that the garden can be built to the desired quality. A Planting Plan is usually also drawn up at this stage.

Other services you may wish to incorporate into the design process include Constructional Details and Written Specifications, depending on the complexity of the design. Cheri will be able to advise you on this.

Cheri regularly works with a number of professional landscape contractors. If required, she is able to prepare Tender Documents and arrange for competitive tendering. Alternatively, she can pass the drawings on to a reputable landscaper and obtain a quotation on your behalf.

Earthworks1 offers a Site Supervision service, so you can relax while everything comes together. When the hard landscaping is complete Cheri can source the plants and do the planting for you. If you prefer, you can get involved, or you can do the planting yourself!

If you need a little guidance on how to maintain your newly built garden, a Maintenance Plan can be compiled, detailing each task and plant that will need attention on a month by month basis, so looking after your new garden is fun and easy.
