Small Garden for Friends, Woolley, South Yorkshire

Amanda's plot was typical of a newly built home; this blank slate happened to be on a hillside. She wanted a very low maintenance garden to relax and gather together her friends, and a good sized paved area to play Giant Jenga!

Sloping gardens offer an opportunity to make a dynamic series of spaces, and this design truly makes the most of that. The simple palette of materials means that the modern style sits comfortable among the new homes and within the wider landscape.
